Amie uses brilliant hues and intricate, lively brushwork to create her stunning paintings. She is inspired by the beauty and splendor she sees in the rolling hills surrounding her studio in southern Indiana. Using color in a dialogue with the canvas, the result evokes the play of light on plants and objects.
