South Asia Institute (SAI) cultivates the art and culture of&nbsp;South Asia and its diaspora through curated exhibitions, innovative programs and&nbsp;educational initiatives. SAI is located on Michigan Avenue on Chicago’s historic Motor&nbsp;Row, part of the Prairie District. Built in 1911 in the second empire style of architecture,&nbsp;the building that houses South Asia Institute is a registered national landmark.&nbsp;&nbsp;SAI collaborates locally and globally to engage diverse communities with enriching and creative experiences.
