Hindman’s Antiquities & Islamic Art auction includes ancient works of art across numerous collecting categories, with objects of interest to both novice and experienced collectors. Works in bronze, marble, pottery and other media are featured from Egyptian, Greek, Roman, Near Eastern and other cultures. A smaller number of Pre-Columbian, African and Islamic works of art are included, with property from the George R. Francoeur Trust as well as the Detroit Institute of Arts, in addition to property from other estates and collections.
