Architecture Walking Tours
Saturday, Jun 20 – Aug 29, 2020111 E Wacker Dr, Chicago, IL 60601
As of June 20, 2020, the Chicago Architecture Center has resumed select in-person activities in accordance with safety measures and precautions mandated by public health officials for the State of Illinois and the City of Chicago. Adjustments temporarily necessary are detailed here for currently available offerings.
Chicago is known around the world for its architecture. Whether you tour downtown or a neighborhood, our expert docent guides will tell you the stories behind the buildings. Visit iconic skyscrapers, elegant hotels or the legendary houses of Frank Lloyd Wright. With more than 85 tours to choose from, we won't blame you if you can't pick just one.
CAC WALKING TOURS
For the safety of our guests, CAC docent−led walking tours are limited to a maximum of six attendees plus one docent, to allow for appropriate social distancing of at least six feet between individuals who have not isolated together. It is a requirement that both the docent and all tour attendees wear face coverings over their nose and mouth at all times.
Tickets for all CAC walking tours must be purchased in advance through the CAC website or by phone to the CAC Box Office. Unfortunately, walk-ups without reservations cannot be accommodated at this time for tours not departing from the Center at 111 East Wacker Drive.
The CAC requests that all walking tour attendees bring their own hand sanitizer to further adhere to the guidance of public health officials regarding frequent hand sanitizing and thorough hand washing.
By confirming your reservation for any CAC walking tour you acknowledge and accept the CAC’s COVID-19 safety policies.
