Artists in our community and nationwide play a vital role in helping us reimagine paths forward while showcasing what various forms of activism can look like. Join us on October 14th at 7:00 PM CDT for an hour of performances and discussion between Weinberg/Newton Gallery’s Anthemexhibition artists, other artists from the Chicagoland area, and the ACLU of Illinois on the intersection of art and social activism – especially during an election year. Get inspired and hear directly from artists on how their practices have been affected by the election year and COVID-19.

The ACLU of Illinois strives to create inclusive, accessible events that enable all individuals to fully engage with its programming. The event will have open captioning; if you would like to request other accommodations to better participate in this event or have additional questions, please reach out to us at events@aclu-il.org.

We hope that you able to join us for this virtual conversation!
