Book Launch: Hello We Were Talking About Hudson

Corbett vs. Dempsey is pleased to host a book launch event to celebrate Hello We Were Talking About Hudson. The book is a collection of interviews and writings, edited by Steve Lafreniere and recently published by Soberscove Press, focused on Hudson, the legendary “artists’ dealer” behind the storied gallery Feature Inc. Active in Chicago from 1984–88, and then in New York City from 1988–2014, Feature operated on its own terms and ahead of its time, notably presenting the early work of a number of significant artists and gaining a devoted following over the course of its 30-year run. This event will feature artists Richard Rezac, Kay Rosen, and Tony Tasset, and critic and writer Susan Snodgrass, in conversation with artist and curator John Neff about Hudson, Feature, and the 1980s Chicago art landscape.
