Mi casa es su casa. The popular Spanish saying regarding Mexican hospitality is as familiar to US tourists as it is in towns across Mexico. The saying implies the ideas of extended families and of home. Join Cesáreo Moreno, Visual Arts Director and Curator for the National Museum of Mexican Art, to examine select works in Pop Américacreated by Mexicans on both sides of the border and uncover similarities among them. Like primos hermanos (first cousins), many of the works of art, and the artists who created them share a creative lineage, a culture without borders.
