South Asia Institute (SAI) cultivates the art and culture of&nbsp;South Asia and its diaspora through curated exhibitions, innovative programs and&nbsp;educational initiatives. SAI is located on Michigan Avenue on Chicago’s historic Motor&nbsp;Row, part of the Prairie District. Built in 1911 in the second empire style of architecture,&nbsp;the building that houses South Asia Institute is a registered national landmark.&nbsp;&nbsp;SAI collaborates locally and globally to engage diverse communities with enriching and creative experiences. <a href="https://www.saichicago.org/calendar/spotlight-on-chitra-ganesh">Register Here</a>&nbsp;Join us for a conversation between artist Chitra Ganesh and Dr. Natasha Bissonauth Assistant Professor of Gender Studies College of Wooster.&nbsp;South Asia Institute has invited&nbsp;Aziz Sohail&nbsp;to produce&nbsp;Spotlight on Chitra Ganesh.&nbsp;Chitra will be in conversation with&nbsp;Dr.&nbsp;Natasha Bissonauth&nbsp;discussing Chitra's work, representation, narratives and agency.&nbsp;The spotlight is accompanied by virtual animations hosted on SAI's website from January 9th - January 25th.&nbsp;&nbsp;
