Intuit, 756 N. Milwaukee Ave., Chicago
Intuit is accepting donations for the annual Closet Clearance Sale fundraiser, and we need your help. The Closet Clearance Sale features new, vintage and gently used women’s clothing and accessories (hats, bags, shoes, belts, scarves, jewelry, etc.) donated from Chicago’s best closets.
Your donations are tax-deductible AND will get you in to the “first dibs” preview on Friday night at no charge. Not interested in donating, but still want to participate? Come shop ‘till you drop, and raise funds for the museum while you’re at it.
The best part is 100% of the sale’s proceeds directly support Intuit’s exhibitions, programming and educational events that celebrate outsider art.
When donating clothing to the sale, please keep in mind:
Donations are accepted through Saturday, April 20, 2019.
The value of your donation is determined by you.
All proceeds from the sale benefit Intuit and unsold items will be donated to various charities.
Please call the museum ahead of time to arrange donation coordination.
Donations can be dropped off at Intuit Tuesday through Saturday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Sundays, noon to 5 p.m.
In the past, the most popular items have been from recognizable brands and reflective of contemporary or vintage fashion trends.
We’re seeking high-end consignment items, so please refrain from donating t-shirts and other more casual clothing.
We ask that clothes be in clean, wearable condition and on hangers, if possible.
