In honor of the International Year of Glass 2022, join us for Contemporary Glass Art Panel: Innovation, Beauty and Healing.
Experts, Pearl Dick from Firebird Community Arts, Chicago and Ken Saunders from Ken Saunders Gallery, Chicago, will discuss the history of the Contemporary Glass Art movement, its influence on art and how it is helping individuals and communities heal from trauma. They will also discuss the glass pieces in the brand-new exhibition that will be on display starting Oct. 29, We Are Us: The Human Condition.
All are welcome to this free event at LCA and are encouraged to participate in the discussion and ask questions. Complimentary light refreshments will be served, and a cash bar will be available.
