Dyeing to Print

In this one-day, five-hour course, participants will learn how to make monoprints on fabric. Techniques covered include dyeing cotton fabric and stencil screenprinting with dye and ink. This experimental course encourages students to embrace play and experimentation. Work with artist and instructor Cassie Tompkins to develop your design, then screenprint with dye and/or inks onto a panel of cotton fabric. Screenprinting experience preferred.
