Please join us for a home-cooked meal and conversation! With this edition of the Traveling Kitchen project, Vivien Sansour, founder of the Palestine Heirloom Seed Library, and Sweet Water Foundation invite guests to gather at the Think Barn for an afternoon centered on collective memory and space. The exchange will encompass stories from the South Side of Chicago, the American prairies, and Palestine that highlight the importance of remembering and reclaiming life in different political and social contexts. In her ongoing practice to preserve and promote seed conservation, Sansour investigates the relationship between food, land, and autonomy. This event is part of the Chicago Architecture Biennial’s curated programming series.
