Join us for the launch of CXW programming with a kickoff conversation moderated by the Driehaus Museum’s Executive Director, Lisa Key, with gallerist Aron Gent (DOCUMENT), curator Carla Acevedo-Yates (MCA), and artist Luke Agada (moniquemeloche).

The conversation will explore the vibrancy of the Chicago art scene and the joys, along with the obstacles, of residing and working in the city. Speakers will also discuss what it means to be a participant in a broader, ever-changing ecosystem, such as the global art world.

After the conversation, guests are encouraged to explore all the exciting programming taking place throughout the city’s art galleries as a part of CXW. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of art, culture, and creativity, and to celebrate the dynamic art scene of Chicago!

This is a public event but RSVPs are highly encouraged through Gertie’s registration software Pie, found here
