Join Smart Scholar (UChicago art history major and chemistry minor) Sarahi Rincon Molina, as she shares her research into the wildest art materials in use today! Sarahi is part of the Smart Scholars program and will be presenting her research on materiality, the use of plastics in art, and the art of Andrew Luk. After her presentation, she will lead a hands-on art lab where participants can experiment with modern materials such as polystyrene, plaster, polyurethane foam, spray paint and more.

FREE, all materials provided. We will have a limited number of aprons and smocks, but please wear clothes you don’t mind getting messy!
