Flatlife Friday: Melanie Dorson

"I usually print my work on a Sturges etching press at Graphic Arts Workshop, a San Francisco cooperative printmaking studio. I often describe my prints as little worlds on paper that tell non-linear stories influenced by my love of illustrated children's literature. My most recent prints and artist's books chart the course of explorers encountering a new world that seems upside-down and pursuing that which is hidden, enigmatic and just out of reach."  - Melanie Dorson
