During a three-month art residency at the John David Mooney Foundation through the Ukrainian Art Bridge Fellowship, Aliona Solomadina made a bespoke clock featuring digits inspired by Chicago’s architecture and infrastructure. These numerical graphic sets are presented in individual prints, an artist’s book, an installation evocative of the artist’s workspace and creative process, and a projected digital clock (created in collaboration with creative coder Yurii Artiukh). The show on view at the John David Mooney extended until April 20.
