Get your Halloween costume ready. At Friday the 13thin Wonderland, a spooky utopia awaits you and your guests, with hundreds of retro toys and dolls dangling from the ceiling, a tunnel of chairs, a carousel horse and haunted décor at Stage 773. Enjoy music from DJ Hammeed; delicious tacos from Milo’s Market; an open bar with wine, beer and a complimentary spooky cocktail; and a costume contest!

Together, we’ll raise $16,000 of critical funds for Intuit’s 2024 post-renovation marquee exhibition examining immigrant self-taught artists from Nicaragua, North Korea, Mexico and elsewhere who began their artmaking after arriving to Chicago. The show explores the aftermath of immigration, how identity relates to artistic practice, and the power of art to humanize and bear witness to historical events.
