While 2024 marked the official 150th anniversary of the birth of the Impressionist movement in France, Madron is continuing the celebration with our latest exhibition, “In a New Light: The Evolution of American Impressionism.” It feels only fitting to let the show stretch its wings into the new year, as so much of it explores the way artists like Robert Reid, Robert Vonnoh, and John Henry Twachtman transformed what they’d learned abroad on their home soil in the decades following that fateful 1874 Paris exhibition.
