Woman Made Gallery (WMG) is proud to present “Invisibility: Existing on the Periphery,” a virtual group exhibition. Curated by Anne-Marie Kovacs, this exhibition includes artworks in various mediums that explore the experience of invisibility, a condition often imposed by societal norms and sometimes embraced as a form of self-preservation.

Works in this exhibit examine the multiple dimensions of social invisibility by delving into the emotional or practical consequences of the condition or by revealing unseen, overlooked, or unacknowledged constraints in today’s society. Thirty-seven artists contributed their interpretations and narratives to bring visibility to the invisible and to acknowledge those who are existing on the periphery due to societal pressures or by their own choice.
