Using his recent steel mesh sculptures as a point of departure, Jaume Plensa created Invisibles, a new suite of works on paper made by drawing his subjects solely from memory. In working from these recollections, the artist distances himself from rendering the specific features of his sitters, and instead, elicits a sense of nostalgia.
