League of Nations is a new body of work examining power structures and copies through architectural installation and sculpture. The show is anchored by a new installation based on Hans Meyer and Hans Wittwer’s unbuilt 1927 proposal drawing submitted for the headquarters of the League of Nations in Geneva, Switzerland. This work will act as a monumental and fragile cipher for the other works in the show, leveraging history to build an unbuilt container for utopian global ambitions. The show as a whole will ask questions about our current contemporary moment, world order and different systems we navigate through.
