The realities of the past four years have greatly shifted the educational landscape. Curriculum shifts, teacher shortages, and student social-emotional development gaps have all widened post lockdown. During this two-part series, Dr. E’Toyare Williams and an arts education collaborator introduce teachers to the Adverse Childhood Experience theory and assist in finding new strategies to better understand and serve students in today’s climate. This workshop shop plans to align with themes found in the exhibition Virginia Jaramillo: Principle of Equivalence.
