FREE&nbsp;Families with children are welcome to join us for a reading of “Family Pictures” by Carmen Lomas Garza. Recommended for ages 6-11, this bilingual book shares the inspiration behind Garza’s paintings, documenting her favorite family memories growing up in South Texas. We will also hear about the inspiration behind her painting “Las Posadas” which is currently on view in our Nuestras Historias: Stories of Mexican Identity from the Permanent Collection exhibition.
