In her newest series of acrylic paintings, titled Summer of 24,” Marcia Biasiello continues her exploration of the human experience as ripe with possibility, exaltation, and relentless exuberance – this time with poolside couples. Marcia sees her images as visual narratives and love poems depicting pivotal moments where what happens before, after, and even during is open with possibility.

Marcia is an award-winning artist with an MFA from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC). She was a Visiting Assistant Professor of Art and Design in Urbana IL and a Visiting Artist at SAIC. Her work has been published with Minted, has been collected in the US and Canada, and exhibited in the US and Europe.
