Spend a summer evening grooving to jazz in the Mary Loretto & Terrence J. Dillon Courtyard. Bring your own blanket or lawn chair and settle in for some great music.
The Gustavo Cortiñas Sextet includes Drew Hansen on trumpet, Artie Black on reeds, Euán Edmonds on trombone, Joaquin Garcia on piano, Kitt Lyles on bass, and Gustavo Cortiñas on drums. Cortiñas returns to the Snite Museum to present Desafío Candente, a work of fourteen original compositions that draw inspiration from Uruguayan writer Eduardo Galeano’s “The Open Veins of Latin America.”

In the event of inclement weather, the concert will be moved into the Museum Atrium. Blankets, lawn chairs, and picnic refreshments are welcome inside. Masks must be worn inside the Museum.
