POP! arazzi: Art Shay, Bruno Surdo, and Patrick Burns

POP! arazzi combines three artists, three different mediums, speaking to the idea of fame from different perspectives. Art Shay photographed movie stars, civil rights leaders, politicians, and writers in his extraordinary career starting in the 1940's. Bruno Surdo's Allegorical paintings capture the myriad of personalities vying for attention in the modern world trying to capture their 15 minutes. Patrick Burns focuses on popular, historical events and personalities using actual historic newsprint and paint.
