September’s Fine Art series continues with the firm’s inaugural dedicated sale of works by Pablo Picasso on the morning of September 26. Featuring works in a wide variety of mediums by the iconic artist, this sale highlights Picasso’s prowess as a master of multiples. The collection reflects the artist’s particular affinity for etching, drypoint, lithograph, linocut, and ceramics. Key highlights of the sale include Visage au nez noir (A.R. 609), 1969, a stunning ceramic work by the artist that is offered in its original wooden crate from Madoura, and Jacqueline au Bandeau de Face (Grand Tête de Femme), 1962, a linocut depicting the striking visage of his second wife and muse, amongst many others.
