Opening on Friday, August 13 from 7—10pm
“Clap, Clap” is a series of encaustic paintings created during the isolation of the COVID-19 pandemic, a chronicle of the hard work that women did during that time and also the work they were unable to do.
“A Woman Was a Woman” is a series of portraits of women from history, as well as women whose lives were more obscure. These works are archival digital prints of Prismacolor drawings, which have been photographed through a glowing lightbox and manipulated in terms of color.
