Hindman’s Summer Fashion sale, will offer luxury fashion and accessories from the 1900s to today.  The sale includes rare examples of 1940s designs by Gilbert Adrian and Irene Lentz, famous Hollywood costume designers, who also made a name for themselves in fashion, as well as a strong collection of items from  Japanese designers such as Issey Miyake, Rei Kawakubo, Yohji Yamamoto, Kenzo Takada and Mitsuhiro Matsuda.  The sale is also driven by fashion forward designs, including  an exciting collection of contemporary menswear from Thom Browne, Givenchy, Christian Dior, Alexander McQueen, Balmain and Tom Ford.  Additionally, the sale boasts a superb collection of  property made by Chanel, Louis Vuitton and Hermès, including  over 100 Hermès scarves, which are enjoying a current revival. A clear highlight offered in the upcoming June auction is the iconic and perfect-for-summer Hermès Birkin in Natural Sable from 2008.
