Lily Pad | West is pleased to present “Sunlight of the Seasons” a solo exhibition of Wisconsin-based artist Steve Gerhartz.

Wisconsin-based artist Steve Gerhartz is known for his ability to capture the unique lighting and mood of the day in his landscape paintings. A self-proclaimed nature enthusiast, Gerhartz creates many of his works on location, and deepens his connection with his materials by hand-carving each one of his frames. Gerhartz’ passion for painting outdoors was ignited early on, when a November snow squall with his brother turned into inspiration for his first landscape painting. Gerhartz went on to study painting at the Lyme Academy in Old Lyme, CT, before moving back to his home state of Wisconsin, where he continues to paint today.
