Taking Action to End Homelessness

Thursday, Mar 16, 2017 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM
688 N. Milwaukee Ave. Chicago, IL 60642

Join us for a conversation about how to end homelessness in Chicago and Illinois. Hear from advocates and practitioners actively engaged in solving homelessness, by providing immediate resources, connecting families with sustainable housing, speaking up for residents' rights, or shaping housing policy.

In addition to talking about all of the efforts currently underway to address homelessness, we’ll discuss how anyone can join in to help make sure that everyone in our city and state has a stable, affordable, safe place to call home.

Moderator:
Sharon Legenza, Executive Director, Housing Action Illinois

Speakers:
Nonie Brennan, CEO, All Chicago
Michael Banghart, Executive Director, Renaissance Social Services, Inc.
Ronald Smith, a graduate of the Speak Up program at Corporation for Supportive Housing
