Rod Slemmons Honored in New Exhibition Series
The Chicago Cluster Project is a new exhibition and public program series inspired by former MoCP Executive Director Rod Slemmons (2002–2011), celebrating his enduring impact on photography and photography education in Chicago.
On view at 400 N. Peoria Street—home of the historic Hedrich & Blessing Photography studios—the exhibition Don’t Make Photographs, Think Them invites contemporary artists to respond to Slemmons’ archive and collection of historical cameras.
MoCP staff will take part in two public programs reflecting on Slemmons’ legacy.
