The Indian Mansion

A walk-through installation of antique Indian architectural elements lovingly reassembled in our main gallery. The installation will feature wooden building facades and walls, doors, columns, ceiling panels, furniture and more, most dating to the 19th Century. The great merchant mansions of coastal India, particularly in Gujarat, are being dismantled and replaced by modern structures.  All the best parts are saved and resold to buyers all over the world.
