As Russia’s barbaric war enters its second year, and despite tremendous loss of life, infrastructure, as well as eradication of culture, the Ukrainian nation continues to show an indomitable spirit of resistance, courage and resilience. Ukraine is truly fighting this war for all Western nations.  

The Ukrainian Institute of Modern Art stands in solidarity with Ukraine by promoting our national heritage and culture. This sends a powerful message and refutes Russian disinformation that seeks to deny Ukraine’s unique culture and sovereignty.

As a significant cultural landmark in Chicago’s Ukrainian Village, we are reaching out to you foryour generous support of UIMA and its programs. Please join us at our annual gala fundraiser, The Art of Resilience, on November 11, 2023. We will host an exceptionally riveting program, cocktails, dinner, and an online auction, including musical performances by Flautist Anastasia Squires and pianist Stephen Squires, Liza Romanyuk, and Ukrainian-American artist and educator Yulia Gasio, keynote speaker.
