Over the past year, everyone including UIMA, has been affected by the war in Ukraine. Since February, the Institute has shifted focus to providing mutual humanitarian aid through fundraising and educational initiations, while still honoring our core mission of bridging cultural diversity through artistic expression.
To maximize the fundraising efforts we've been functioning off of our operational reserve funds as a result of our Ukrainian aid efforts. We are asking for your help now, to support us as we venture into the new year and hope to continue serving the Ukrainian community.
Please consider supporting UIMA's efforts by buying a ticket, or making a donation. Along with an exceptional program for the evening featuring acclaimed Ukrainian-American artist Ola Rondiak as the keynote speaker, Serhiy FOMA Fomenko, a Ukrainian fusion folk singer from the band Mandry, as a special musical guest.
Along with cocktails and dinner, an online auction will be held, featuring pieces from our archive as well as an Ola Rondiak original.
