Void Oblation: Redefining Psychedelic Arts & Culture will be showcasing work from 13 visual artists and four days of event programming, including a dance party, a fashion show and live music performance, and two days of educational harm reduction and psychedelic science programming provided by Sana Healing Collective.
Event schedule is as follows:
Saturday November 23 - Opening reception and DJ Set by Barakat
Saturday November 30 - Debut BLNDNGVSLS fashion collection pop-up shop and runway show with live music by Chicago Noise and Free Jazz Orchestra and live projection art by Hydrosonic Light Show (This is the fashion collection Jamie McGinty and I have been working on together)
Sunday December 1 - Psychedelics & Art Therapy discussion and interactive workshop presented by Valery Shuman LCPC, AT-R/BC of Sana Healing Collective and Lauren Parente LCSW, CADC
Friday December 6 - Closing reception featuring a psychedelic stories open mic, a harm reduction panel discussion with voices from several leaders in the community, and a letter writing campaign in support of the Illinois CURE Act (IL HB0001).
