 Waterways” showcases recent watercolor paintings on paper from Chicago based artists Justus Roe, Elaine Boby and Kathy Keeley. Each artist finds inspiration in nature, landscapes, city grid systems, and thrift store patterns. Justus, most known for his immersive murals around the city, honed in on his masterful color strokes. Elaine’s paintings are a nostalgic stroll through the neighborhood on a perfect fall day. Kathy playfully creates abstract characters and colorful scenarios. Together, their work has an extraordinary soothing effect on the observer. Come, get lost.
