University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign College of Fine and Applied Arts 500 E Peabody Dr. Champaign, IL 61820

The College of Fine and Applied Arts at the University of Illinois is launching a five-part series entitled “We Got Next” to highlight the work and research of faculty of color relevant to race and equality. Endalyn Taylor, professor in the Department of Dance and dean’s fellow for the college, leads this effort.

Each week, Taylor will engage with faculty members and special guests to share their research and a live discussion of the work’s creation, impact, and relationship to the perpetual pandemic of racism, and the systematic issues brought to the forefront by George Floyd’s murder and other recent events.

You can participate in the series via Zoom on Thursday evenings from 7:00–8:30 p.m., starting tomorrow night. Register Now

Each session will include conversations with special guests including visual arts and theatre, music and dance performances, plus a live discussion streamed from Krannert Art Museum and Krannert Center for the Performing Arts.
