We'll begin with the new SECRIST | BEACH gallery, whose vast 5,000 square foot space is divided into sections featuring both a curated salon-style group exhibition and a solo show of work by Anne Lindberg. In addition to her vibrant, linear works using graphite and colored pencil, Lindberg has also created an extraordinary site-specific sculpture made with volumes of fine chromatic thread pulled taught through space.

Next, at Mariane Ibrahim Gallery, discover sculptural work by French artist Eva Jospin, who composes forests and architectural landscapes out of a variety of materials. The artist, who has won several European prizes, has created individual sculptural reliefs and installation pieces from corrugated cardboard.

And next door, at Monique Meloche Gallery, view vivid paintings by Chicago artist Jake Troyli. Delve into the young artist’s often absurd figurative narratives that consider preconceived notions of identity and the value structures often assigned to black and brown people. The artist has included self portraits within many of the works.
