Weekend Art Walk: Skokie

Join Art Encounter Executive Director and Co-founder of our Evanston Mural Arts Program Lea Pinsky for an exploration of art in Skokie! We'll begin with a walk around downtown Skokie to view murals by street artists Jeff Zimmermann, Sick Fisher, Shawnimals, and WRDSMTH before heading to Who Modern, a shop focusing on rare and unusual decorative objects, furniture, and art. There, we'll see Cool Down Hot Head, a career-spanning exhibition of work by Chicago Imagist Errol Ortiz. We'll also visit the gallery connected to Who Modern, a satellite location of Chicago's Western Exhibitions, where we'll view The Politicians (some of them), featuring representations of political figures by seven artists.
