Words of Art: in conversation with DAVID LOZANO

On Saturday, December 16th at 3pm, Zolla/Lieberman Gallery will present the latest edition of our Words of Art series featuring artist David Lozano. Join ZLG Director, Brian Gillham, and David as we discuss a variety of topics including the inspiration and process for his current exhibition The Backroom Show, his continued exploration into material and medium, his intrepid play with genre, and much more. 

Light refreshments will be served.

Lozano is represented by Zolla/Lieberman Gallery in Chicago. He has participated in the Joan Mitchell Center artists residency in New Orleans, LA. He has received numerous grants including the Joan Mitchell Foundation Painters and Sculptors award and has been reviewed in publications such as the Chicago Tribune, Chicago Sun Times and the L.A. Times.

David Lozano's current exhibition, The Backroom Show, is currently on view at Zolla/Lieberman Gallery until December 23rd.
