Artist Talk: Anthony Iacuzzi & Dianne Kittle

Primordial Collection is a new body of work investigating creativity in relation to consciousness. The project began with a curiosity about pure awareness in the creative process. Meditation, used as a tool of exploration, allowed Kittle to tap into the zone between the waking and sleeping state for image-making ideas. 

Anthony Iacuzzi's series, Body Language, is a retrospective collection of informal, mostly candid, portraits of individuals whom he has encountered during his travels in North America, Europe and Asia over the past few years. His one-word image titles convey Iacuzzi's perception of the emotion, attitude and/or state of mind that each subject is projecting. He invites the viewer to make their own interpretation of each individual’s body language.
