Mole Celebration with Alberto Aguilar

ENGAGE Projects will also host an in-house Mole Celebration with Alberto Aguilar on June 18th, 1 - 4 PM. Aguilar will prepare a traditional mole sauce for ENGAGE Projects’ artists, patrons, and community. As a social practice artist, Aguilar’s work relies on his community to incite the conversations that unmoor systems of power. By preparing a mole sauce in the gallery, the artist fosters the environment for a community-focused experience. Ingredients will be for sale at the show with a chance to have Aguilar himself prepare a mole sauce in your home.
