ENGAGE Projects is a commercial gallery located in West Town. Our mission is to continue to build our program through engagement with our artists, communities and patrons by striving to break down the walls to the art world and embracing inclusivity and accessibility, resulting in an expanding community with multiple voices and viewpoints within our gallery walls and beyond.
ENGAGE Projects was founded as Aspect/Ratio Projects in 2012 as a gallery for international emerging video artists. During 2021 our roster and programming expanded to include both mid-career and emerging multidisciplinary conceptual artists working in painting, photography, sculpture and video.
ENGAGE Projects represents the careers of Aaron Spangler, Adam Daley Wilson, Alberto Aguilar, Alejandro Figueredo Diaz-Perera, Andrew Bearnot, Cameron Gainer, Cameron Patricia Downey, Casilda Sanchez, Chris Cosnowski, Chris Larson, Derrick Woods-Morrow, Edra Soto, Xie Hongdong, Hương Ngô, Margaret Welsh, Morgan, Nick Albertson, Phyllis Bramson, Raheleh Filsoofi, Rob Fischer, Selva Aparicio, and Sharon Louden.
Check our website for additional programming for each show. Our shows rotate every 5 weeks, with openings held typically on Friday or Saturday evenings 6–8 pm. Usually the artist is present.
