Perspective Gallery is proud to present a new show by fine art photographer, Katsy Johnson. It will be the first public viewing of her work in several years. Titled The Wild Waning West,Johnson’s work revolves around the decline of old tourist spots and cowboy towns in the western United States. Her hand-painted photographs, while being large in size, are reminiscent of old mass-produced travel postcards from the 20s through the 50s.
The Wild Waning West opens on Thursday, September 1, and runs through Sunday, September 25. There will be a public reception on Saturday, September 10 from 5 to 7 PM, and Katsy will give an artist talk on Sunday, September 18 at 7 PM.
